Why a day like this

A course teaches you the technique. What it cannot easily show you is the thousand small decisions around it: how the surgery is set up, how long each stage actually takes, what Amber does when the crack goes further than expected, how the case is explained to the patient beforehand and how it is written up afterwards.

You see all of that on a mentorship day, in real time, on real patients, through a microscope and on a large screen.

The Gentle Touch was purpose-built with educational viewing in mind, so this is not a case of standing awkwardly in the corner of a surgery. You see what Amber sees.

How the day runs

Arrival and case review over coffee. What is coming through the door, what to watch for in each case, and what you specifically want to get out of the day.

Live observation of biomimetic treatment. Direct composites, onlays and overlays, weighted towards whatever you have asked for. Every procedure fully visible on screen through the microscope, with commentary throughout and time between patients for questions.

Dinner and an unhurried review at a local restaurant, included in the fee. It runs as long as the conversation does.

The clinical list is built around what you want to see. Tell us at the enquiry stage and the diary is populated accordingly, tailored to your needs.

The six months afterwards

The day itself is the beginning. What changes a clinician’s practice is what happens in the weeks after, when quick access support is given.

  • Direct WhatsApp access to Amber for six months, for cases, questions and second opinions.
  • The materials and equipment toolkit: what is used, why, and what to buy first.
  • The clinical protocols, so you have the aide-memoire right where you need it.

What you will take away

A working understanding of biomimetic workflows as they run in a busy private practice, rather than as they appear on a course.

Real-time clinical decision-making observed rather than described, including what happens when a case does not go to plan.

A clear view of how to set up your own surgery, your kit and your nursing support to make this work.

The confidence to take advanced restorative techniques back into your own practice, and someone to ask when you need to.

Availability

Twelve mentorship days are offered each year, typically one a month. Each one takes a full clinical day and is built around a single visitor.

The way Amber teaches biomimetic dentistry changed how I think about every restoration. It’s not about speed. It’s about respect for the tooth.

Thank you so much, Amber. Genuinely the best course I’ve attended, for so many reasons, so well thought out in every aspect, you were all so welcoming and huge thanks to everyone involved.”

I know what long-lasting, predictable dentistry looks like. The harder question is how the wider profession gets there, within a system that was never designed to support it.

The question I always come back to is: how do we move towards dentistry that is long-lasting and predictable, and move away from the idea that it always has to be dentist-led?
